Call For Volunteers
During the 2010 Summer Reading program at the
Mt. Pleasant Public Library

This year our theme is:

Dear Parents and Friends:

The Mt. Pleasant Public Library is looking for volunteers to help us offer more activities for our summer reading  program.  “Make a Splash Read” is designed to encourage children to continue reading during summer vacation so that valuable reading skills won’t be lost. We hope to offer a variety of activities  for children during our weekly story times. This year we will be dividing the children into groups and rotating them through centers. We are looking for help with our centers. We will provide all the materials and instructions if you would help supervise the activities. We need at least three volunteers for each center.
(Volunteers must be at least 14 years old).
If you are interested in helping, please let us know or sign up at the library. Sign-up sheets will be at story time or  in the children’s library on a weekly basis.

We would  like to thank all those who volunteered last year their help was greatly appreciated.
