JOIN THE READ TODAY SUMMER READING CHALLENGE
What are you reading this summer?
Become part of the Read Today literacy movement by taking the Reading Challenge, where students (K-6) commit to reading everyday during the summer, from June 15 through August 28. Log your minutes each day, with your parent’s help, and watch the total grow. Enjoy good books and share your favorites with others taking the Challenge.
Register by clicking on “Track” to enter all eligible family members, along with the name of your school.
Be Rewarded!
Prizes will be awarded to those readers who log the most minutes. And the three top schools will receive pizza parties in the fall, accompanied by a top author and KSL reporter.
Also, join us at the KSL Book Festival on August 28, at the University of Utah, where the Reading Challenge results will be posted and winners announced. Admission to the Book Festival is FREE.
Read Today is a literacy initiative that promotes literacy and an interest in books all year long throughout the state of Utah. It is operated by DMC companies, including KSL Broadcasting, Deseret News, Deseret Book, Deseret Digital Media, and Temple Square Hospitality.
